Overview

We are fellowship that desires every guest to feel as if they have come home to a warm and wonderful family.

He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither; and in whatever he does, he prospers.
— (Psalm 1:3)

During our Sunday worship celebrations, we have a joyful time worshiping the Lord, hearing His word, and giving our tithes, and offerings, and prayer. We dress casually and strive to be informal and contemporary. We believe that worshiping the Lord should be a joyful and uplifting time.

Worship Service

Our style of worship music is contemporary. We aim to have worship music that leads us into the presence of God. Our worship celebrations typically run for about an hour and 30 minutes.

Families are encouraged to worship together, children are welcome to attend our children's ministry. We also serve delicious refreshments!

Why Manoa Valley?

Born and raised in the valley, Russ has a passion to bless the people of Manoa, from keiki to makule. As a keiki, Russ and friends caught dojo and crawfish in Manoa Stream. They hung out at Manoa Park, playing baseball, basketball, and football.  Russell grew, got married, then he and his young bride Judy (from Kaimuki) moved to Portland, Oregon for Russ’ seminary education.

After a few years on the mainland, the Higa’s joyfully moved back to Manoa to raise their three sons.  Like their dad, the Higa boys frequented the park, playing the sports they loved. Russ has also coached many basketball and baseball teams in Manoa.

That is why Russ ventured to start Streams of Life Fellowship at Manoa Park.
